Griffin
The Griffin is an aluminum resonated metallophone, or outdoor charm. It is patterned after the Swirl, another of our musical playground equipment pieces. It's warm tones linger for three to five seconds, making it similar to finger painting with sound.
Like all of our Freenotes line of outdoor instruments, the Griffin is designed to be played by anyone, regardless of age, ability or musical experience. Its pentatonic scale is one that has "no wrong notes," and can be harmonized with any of our other instruments. Its highlights include:
- Multigenerational
- Interactive Play
- Durable
- Sculptural
- Perfectly Tuned
- No Wrong Notes
- All Abilities, All Ages
- Everyone Can Play!
It is constructed from extremely high-quality commercial grade materials, including anodized aluminum, recycled High Density Polyethylene frame (tan in color), with stainless steel hardware. It is configurable to be in-ground or surface mounted, or on a portable stand. This particular instrument can also be wall-mounted for amazing, space-saving installation, but you'll need to specially request this configuration from one of our product specialists by calling 800-381-4491.
